Our Mission
At Theraplay Pediatric Services, our mission is to promote growth, development, and independence in all areas of life. Through quality, holistic, play-based therapy, we believe there are no limits to success; in that, we will strive to reach milestones one step at a time.
Occupational therapy in pediatrics focuses on adapting and modifying an activity to promote success and independence in each area of occupation. Occupations include ADLs, IADLs, Work, Education, Play, Leisure, Sleep, and Social Interaction. In pediatrics, play-based intervention is a proven leading intervention strategy to implement services, promoting children to have fun and to grow while targeting each of their occupations.
Speech therapy is a service offered by an SLP and SLPA. Speech therapists will address concerns and implement interventions to target deficits regarding speech, communication, and oral motor skills.
Feeding therapy is a service that is often provided by occupational therapy practitioners and speech therapy practitioners who have been trained in feeding therapy. Our company offers access to therapists who have been trained in the SOS approach to feeding, with a focus on creating a fun environment for kids and young adults to explore new foods and increase their food range.
Physical therapy is a service offered by a PT and PTA. Physical therapy in pediatrics allows for patients to increase strength, prevent further deformation, and rehabilitate injured areas of the body.

I’m Sarah! I work in occupational therapy and I am an SOS trained feeding therapist. I am the owner of Theraplay Pediatric Services. I am passionate about bringing services to children and young adults across the Arizona valley. The company was founded in the South Eastern valley, where there are limited resources for children with disabilities and their families. I value a patient-centered, play-based approach to all therapy. When we are having fun, growth follows!
